In this artwork, I wanted to express a calmness with the flow of the seagrass and the fins of the fish. I decided to make the values soft to create a relaxed feeling throughout the painting. |

I painted this longboard to show my interest in long boarding. I chose this composition to focus on the complexity of a longboards mechanics. With Watercolor, I was able to convey the smooth textures and create even shadows. |
Bumble Bee- Acrylic paint- 9x12
In this artwork, I painted a bee on a sunflower that was inspired by a picture I took in a sunflower field. For the composition, I decided to make the center of the flower not in the center of the painting. I used a gel medium to create a texture for the center of the flower. |
Mason Jar- Pencil- 9x12
I made this drawing inspired by a photo I took after a storm. I made highlights and shadows to create the water droplets on the jar. I used a variety of drawing pencils to get the right values to make it look realistic. |
Salzburg, Austria- Colored pencil- 7x12
This is a drawing of a building that I visited on my trip to Austria. I used a black colored pencil to create the values of the buildings. I then went back in, layering color on top of the values. Colorado- Watercolor and Acrylic- 9x12
This is a painting of a river in Colorado. I started with the amount wins in the background and worked my way through. I did many layers of Watercolor to create value and texture. For the cloud and the water splashing, I used white acrylic paint to create contrast. |
